Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp reportedly blocked young striker Rhian Brewster from going out on loan at the start of this season.
The 19-year-old shot to prominence at the Under-17 World Cup two years ago, where he scored eight goals and England won the overall competition.
Injuries derailed his progress in 2018 but Brewster made his first-team debut as Liverpool beat MK Dons 2-0 in the EFL Cup to set up a last-16 tie with Premier League rivals Arsenal.
Speaking to FourFourTwo about a potential loan move this season, Brewster said: "Yeah, I spoke to [Klopp] at the beginning of the season and he just said 'no'. He doesn't want me to go on loan, he wants me to stay. So that's fair enough and it's good to hear."
The young striker joined Liverpool in 2014 and since then has scored 24 goals at youth level for England as well as many more for the Reds' various youth teams.
