Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen to manage Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe as the speculation surrounding the attacker continues to gather pace.
Mbappe, widely regarded as the best young forward in world football, only has a little over 18 months left to run on his contract with the French champions.
Real Madrid are said to be determined to sign the 21-year-old, but a recent report claimed that Liverpool were firmly in the hunt for the France international.
According to Sport, Liverpool manager Klopp wants to work with the World Cup winner and is firmly behind his club's alleged pursuit of his services.
Mbappe, who could reportedly be available for £161m next summer, has scored seven times and registered seven assists in eight appearances for PSG this season.
Meanwhile, the former Monaco youngster has netted 97 goals and provided 58 assists in 132 outings for his current side since arriving, initially on loan, in 2017.
