Liverpool outcast Lazar Markovic has reportedly been offered the chance to move to Lokomotiv Moscow this month.
The 23-year-old last played for the Reds in May 2015 and, after loans at Sporting Lisbon and Hull City last season, reportedly refused to move on last summer.
The Serbian still has 18 months remaining on his contract and is pocketing around £35,000 a week, leaving Jurgen Klopp's side keen to offload him as soon as possible.
According to The Mirror, Russian Premier League leaders Lokomotiv have approached Liverpool over a potential transfer and are keen to sign him this month, although his £16m price tag may prove too expensive.
The newspaper claims that Liverpool will also consider a loan move for the player, however, if Lokomotiv agree to pay both his wages and "a decent loan fee".
Anderlecht, Celta Vigo and Espanyol have also been credited with an interest in recent months.
