Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Leeds United's Alex Mowatt and could move for the midfielder this summer.
Mowatt has earned plaudits for his recent performances, having scored four goals in his last six appearances for the Whites.
According to The Mirror, the Reds have sent scouts to watch the England youth international in action.
However, Liverpool may find a deal for Mowatt difficult, with Leeds owner Massimo Cellino banned from all club activity by the Football League until the end of the season.
It is thought that should Cellino return to the Elland Road boardroom, he will seek a fee of at least £5m plus performance add-ons for the player.
