Liverpool have reportedly moved closer to securing the signing of Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha.
Manager Jurgen Klopp is said to be in the market for another stopper this summer, with Simon Mignolet potentially leaving the club and doubts remaining over the future of Loris Karius.
Liverpool have been strongly linked with an approach for Roma's Alisson Becker, but Strakosha is another goalkeeper said to be on the club's radar and according to Calciomercato, the Premier League side have been provided with a boost.
The report claims that Lazio are already on the brink of securing a replacement for Strakosha, with Silvio Proto close to joining the Italian side from Olympiacos.
Albanian international Strakosha was a regular for Lazio last season, with the 23-year-old making 53 appearances in all competitions.
