Liverpool reportedly hold an interest in signing Red Bull Salzburg youngster Luka Sucic, a player likened to Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric.

Liverpool have reportedly identified Red Bull Salzburg youngster Luka Sucic as a potential transfer target.

Ahead of the summer window, Liverpool may have to focus their attention on attack-minded players given the uncertainty over the long-term futures of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

However, according to Bild, the Merseyside giants could look to strengthen in the middle of the pitch with the acquisition of Sucic.

The 19-year-old has been likened to Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric having impressed during his 37 appearances for Salzburg this campaign.

Despite possessing over three more years on his contract, it is claimed that Sucic could be available for a fee in the region of £12m.

Sucic, who has already made his senior debut for Croatia, is also said to be attracting interest from AC Milan and Juventus. body check tags ::
