Liverpool reportedly scouted Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic during the Milan derby last weekend.
The 27-year-old has made 28 appearances for Inter during the 2019-20 campaign and captained them to a 4-2 win over AC Milan at San Siro on February 9.
Real Madrid are allegedly keeping tabs on the Croatia international ahead of a potential move during this summer's transfer window.
However, according to FCInterNews, Liverpool are also admirers of the central midfielder having scouted him during Inter's clash with Stefano Pioli's side.
Brozovic, who helped Croatia reach the final of the 2018 World Cup, is contracted to I Nerazzurri until June 2022 but allegedly has a £50.5m release clause - available to clubs outside of Italy - inserted into his current deal.
The midfielder has made 182 appearances for his Serie A club in all competitions.
