Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is reportedly plotting a summer move for Nottingham Forest youngster Jamaal Lascelles after sending scouts to watch the defender in midweek.
The Anfield club's senior scout Dave Fallows cast his eye over the 20-year-old centre-back for the second time in a fortnight as the Championship side saw off League One Preston in a FA Cup fourth-round replay, and the Sunday People claims that the Reds are poised to make their move in the next window.
However, Forest may ask for a sizeable transfer fee in order for Liverpool to prise Lascelles away from the City Ground, with the player having already attracted interest from other Premier League clubs including Arsenal.
Lascelles scored for Forest in their 1-1 draw with Blackpool on Saturday.
