Liverpool are reportedly prepared to sell young defender Lloyd Jones when the transfer window reopens in January.
The 21-year-old has been part of the Merseyside club since 2011, when he joined their academy from Plymouth Argyle.
Since 2013, the defender has had loan spells at Cheltenham Town, Accrington Stanley, Blackpool and Swindon Town, but now it seems that he could be leaving Anfield for good.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool are ready to cut a deal with Preston North End in January after the Championship club expressed an interest in Jones during the summer, but a proposed £250,000 deal did not come to fruition.
It is believed that a number of League One clubs are also keeping tabs on the defender, who has not made a Premier League appearance for the Reds.
Last season, the England Under-20 international featured 24 times for Swindon and contributed two goals.
