Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has emerged as a transfer target for Turkish side Galatasaray, according to reports.
The 29-year-old, capped 24 times by Brazil, is in the final year of his current Anfield deal and is yet to be offered a new contract.
According to Sky Sports News, Lucas is not deemed to be in the plans of Reds manager Jurgen Klopp, and as a result, Galatasaray could make a move to sign him before the close of the summer transfer window.
Lucas has made 313 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions after joining the club from Brazilian side Gremio in 2007.
