Real Madrid youngster Jack Harper is reportedly a transfer target of Premier League rivals Manchester City and Liverpool.
The 18-year-old, who joined Los Blancos at the age of 13, made headlines recently as a result of his performance in the UEFA Youth League against FC Basel, during which he scored one goal and assisted another for a teammate.
It is believed that the attacking midfielder is highly regarded by the coaching staff at the Bernabeu, but with so many established players in the senior squad, his route to Carlo Ancelotti's first team appears to be an arduous one.
That has alerted both Man City and Liverpool, who have been monitoring Harper's progress for some time, according to the Daily Mail.
Harper was born in Spain shortly after his family had moved from Scotland.
