Hertha Berlin midfielder Marko Grujic has revealed that he will consider extending his Liverpool loan by another year if the German club qualify for the Europa League.
Grujic has started back-to-back league games for sixth-placed Hertha since returning from an ankle injury, which saw him miss two months of the season.
The Serbia international's return to the side has coincided with a downturn in results, having drawn their last two matches to drop a place outside the European spots, but Grujic is enjoying his time in the German capital and is open to staying on beyond next summer.
"In the long term I would like to prevail at Liverpool," he told SportBild. "But if we qualify for the Europa League with Hertha, I see a good chance that I will stay one more year."
Grujic, a Liverpool player since 2016, also spent the second half of last season out on loan with Cardiff City.
