Rivals Liverpool and Everton have reportedly added Alexandre Lacazette to the top of their summer shopping lists.
It is expected that the Merseyside duo will both be in the market for a new striker ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.
The Reds are likely to part company with Christian Benteke, while Everton frontman Romelu Lukaku has made no secret of his desire to join a Champions League club.
According to The Mirror, the search for a goalscorer has seen the two clubs identify Lyon's Lacazette.
The report adds that the 24-year-old, who has previously been linked with Newcastle United and West Ham United, is priced at £22m.
Lacazette has scored 14 goals in 27 Ligue 1 outings this season.
