Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski has dismissed suggestions that he has previously held talks with Liverpool.
The Merseyside giants have been linked with an approach for Zielinski in the past, but the Poland international has remained in Naples since 2016.
Zielinski has been a regular in Carlo Ancelotti's squad this season, and the player has said that he wants to remain at the Serie A giants.
The 24-year-old is quoted by Tuttomercatoweb as saying: "I've never talked to [Jurgen Klopp], I have nothing to say.
"I repeat, I'm very good at Napoli, I work with [Carlo] Ancelotti, who is among the best and makes me learn a lot, and then we'll see what happens."
Zielinski has just under two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, and has suggested that he wishes to pen a fresh deal.
