Real Madrid have reportedly made no contact with Liverpool over a possible deal for Sadio Mane, contrary to claims by the head of the Senegalese Football Association.
Saee Seck yesterday suggested that Mane "had the chance" to join Madrid and urged the Senegal international to leave the European champions and join Los Blancos.
However, the Liverpool Echo reports that the Reds have not received any approach from Madrid for Mane and would not consider selling him this summer even if there were offers.
The 27-year-old signed a new five-year deal at Anfield last November and went on to score 26 goals across all competitions last season, winning the Premier League Golden Boot and helping the club to their sixth European Cup.
Mane is currently representing his country at the Africa Cup of Nations, where Senegal are preparing for a semi-final against Tunisia on Sunday.
