Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic is reportedly set to remain at Anfield for the remainder of the year after seeing a move to Werder Bremen fall through.
The 24-year-old midfielder had been hopeful of completing a deadline-day return to the Bundesliga, where he has spent the past two seasons on loan with Hertha Berlin, either on another loan or a permanent deal.
However, Football Insider claims that negotiations have stalled between the two clubs and it is now highly unlikely that a transfer will go through before 11pm.
Grujic has yet to make a matchday squad for Liverpool in the Premier League this term, although he did start both EFL Cup games prior to the Reds' elimination at the hands of Arsenal last week.
West Ham United and Southampton have also previously been tipped to move for the Serbia international, whom Liverpool value in the region of £20m.
