Tottenham Hotspur have apparently joined Liverpool in opening up talks with Willian's representatives over his potential transfer from Anzhi Makhachkala.
The big-spending Russian club are preparing to sell many of their foreign stars, having indicated their plans to invest in home-grown talent in the future.
Spurs had two bids rejected by Shakhtar Donetsk for Willian's services before he moved to Anzhi, and he is now a target of the Lillywhites again, as well as several of their Premier League rivals.
Reports emerged on Friday that Liverpool were in negotiations with the 24-year-old's camp, and according to Sky Sports News Tottenham have also made contact with the playmaker's agent ahead of a possible offer.
It is understood that Anzhi will be looking to recoup much of the £30m that they paid for the Brazilian international when they purchased him last summer.
