Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has declared his commitment to the club and indicated that he is not particularly interested in a move away from Anfield.
The Senegal international won the Premier League golden boot last season for his goalscoring exploits, and he was vital to Jurgen Klopp's side winning the Champions League.
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is a known admirer of the former Southampton star and he showed an interest in the forward in the summer, but Mane has said that he is happy to stay with the Reds.
Speaking to Complex, the 27-year-old said: "To be honest, I'm really happy to be a part of the club, the family here. We have the best fans in the world here, so I'm always so thankful for the support.
"It's not just great for me too – it gives the whole squad more motivation to perform.
"It keeps us hungry to get better and better together - I really struggle to describe how happy I am to be here!"
Mane scored his second league goal of the season in Liverpool's last Premier League fixture against Burnley, and the former Red Ball Salzburg man is likely to feature heavily again on Saturday as the Reds host Newcastle United.
