Liverpool will allegedly complete the signing of Spanish goalkeeper Victor Valdes next month after he recovers from cruciate ligament damage.
The deal will be officially announced next month after the former Barcelona stopper is fit enough to undergo a medical, the Daily Mail reports.
The 32-year-old, who was on the verge of joining Monaco before being sidelined, will compete with Liverpool's number one goalkeeper Simon Mignolet for first-team football.
Valdes is a free agent, meaning that he is free to find a club outside of Monday night's transfer deadline.
