Sports Mole previews Saturday's Scottish Premiership clash between Livingston and Kilmarnock, including predictions, team news and possible lineups.
Sports Mole

A Kilmarnock side with just one victory all season will be hoping to pick up points when they travel to Livingston on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts begin the weekend seventh in the Scottish Premiership table and will be confident of a win against second-bottom Kilmarnock.

Match preview

Winless Dundee United are the only side below Kilmarnock in the Premiership table, with Killie having picked up four points from their opening six outings.

Leaky in defence, it is United who are the only side to have conceded more goals so far this season than Kilmarnock.

Still awaiting their first clean sheet of the season, Kilmarnock will travel to Livingston looking for their maiden away victory of the campaign, having won their last fixture against Motherwell at home.

By contrast, Livingston have won three times from their first six fixtures, although similar defensive woes mean that they have lost the other three matches so far.

Victory over Hearts last time out ended a run of back-to-back defeats, with Livingston now eyeing up the chance to make it four wins from six league outings this weekend.

Should they wish to do so, Livingston will have to increase their attacking output, as just three sides in the division have scored fewer than their tally of five goals.

History suggests that this is a fixture they often find the net in, having scored in each of their last six meetings with Kilmarnock.

That run has included four victories, with Livingston certainly enjoying the better time of things as far as the head-to-head record is concerned.

Team News

An ankle injury will mean that Bruce Anderson misses out for Livingston, with the forward expected to return before the end of the month.

Such a speedy return is not likely for Livingston's Tom Parkes, whose time on the sidelines will extend into the new year.

Kilmarnock are not without their own injury concerns, as Jeriel Dorset, Jordan Jones and Zach Hemming will all sit out Saturday's clash against Livingston.

Scott Robinson is another absentee for the visitors through injury, whereas Ashton Taylor will miss the game through a red card suspension.

Livingston possible starting lineup:
George; Devlin, Obileye, Kelly, Montano; Holt, Omeonga, Penrice; Goncalves, Nouble, Pittman

Kilmarnock possible starting lineup:
Walker; Wright, Stokes, Mayo, Chrisene; Armstrong, Power, Alebiosu, Polworth; Cameron, Shaw

We say: Livingston 2-0 Kilmarnock

Having struggled at multiple times so far this season, Kilmarnock will be hoping to avoid another damaging defeat this weekend.

However, it is unlikely that Kilmarnock escape Livingston with any points to show this time around.
