Lorient's relegation woes have taken a turn for the worse after a 1-0 defeat at Bordeaux.

After a goalless first half, the hosts were reduced to 10 men in the final five minutes as Carlos Henrique was shown his second yellow card of the match.

However, the numerical disadvantage made little difference to Bordeaux, who won the game in injury time thanks to Yoan Gouffran's penalty following Jeremie Janot's foul.

Lorient are now only a point above the drop zone with one game left to play, while Bordeaux have moved up to fifth in the table.
