Alex Lawless scored in the first minute of the second half to give Conference side Luton Town a famous win over Championship outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers this afternoon.
Kevin Doyle had an early chance for the Championship side in the sixth minute but shot wide from the edge of the area.
A similar chance fell to Sylvan Ebanks-Blake in the 24th minute, and he was also unable to test Mark Tyler in the Luton goal.
Bakary Sako managed to finally test the home goalkeeper just before the break, but his effort was not hard enough to find the net.
Right after the restart it was Luton who broke the deadlock, Lawless slamming a shot into the bottom corner from just outside the box.
Fifteen minutes later Doyle again tested Taylor in the Luton net but there appeared no way past.
Despite a series of late corners and a further stop from Tyler from Jamie O'Hara, Wolves could not work the equaliser and Luton held on for a famous win.
