Rijeka entertained Lyon on Thursday evening in the Europa League as both sides looked to improve their chances of qualifying by claiming a victory.
A defensive mistake from a corner allowed Alassane Plea to tap in the opening goal as Lyon took an early lead.
However, Andrej Kramaric fired in a long range strike just seven minutes later to equalise for the hosts and both sides were forced to settle for a draw following a quiet second half.

Good evening everyone. Lyon can take a step closer to qualifying for the knockout stages with a victory this evening but they'll be tested by Rijeka, who are desperate to pick up their first win.
Clement Grenier scored the winner when these two sides met just a fortnight ago. A repeat of that 1-0 triumph for Lyon would be priceless.

Rijeka get the game underway and they almost immediately adopt a direct approach to try to worry the visitors. There's a very good atmosphere inside the ground.
The home crowd have certainly been encouraged by their team's start. Lyon haven't had too much joy yet in midfield.
Much better from the visitors as they enjoy a good spell of possession in the final third of the pitch. Rijeka are doing well to defend in numbers and make the pitch seem very narrow.
It took Lyon a few minutes to relax but they're controlling the game now at a tempo of their choosing. No opportunities for either side yet.
SAVE! Vargic is forced into a routine stop when Briand hits a weak effort at goal The visitors will need to produce a lot more to beat the goalkeeper.
Tomecak takes a free kick from a good position but his cross into the box is easily cleared and it's an opportunity wasted by the home side.
CHANCE! Big, big chance for the home side. Kvržić breaks free on the right before delivering an inviting cross to Benko, who pokes an effort wide from close range.
GOAL! RIJEKA 0-1 LYON (PLEA)
Benko is certainly regretting missing that opportunity now. The home side fail to deal with a corner and their inability to clear the danger allows Plea to tap in from a couple of yards out.
Rijeka started the game very impressively and probably should have taken the lead but a lack of concentration has cost them. They face a tough task from here.
The hosts are still looking good in possession but they're finding it difficult to create pick the right pass in the final third of the pitch.
Lyon haven't been comfortable at the back. Benko is finding space far too easily and they would be foolish to allow the forward to have another sight at goal. Remi Garde will want to see his side calm down.
Gorgelin charges off his line to attempts to punch a corner clear but he's lucky to see the ball fired away after he stumbles in the box.
GOAL! RIJEKA 1-1 LYON (KRAMARIC)
Stunning equaliser from Kramaric, who uses the space offered to him by taking a touch before firing an effort into the top corner from outside the box. What a strike! We've got a cracking game on our hands now.
CHANCE! The Croatian club are almost ahead just moments after equalising. Benko's overhead kick is deflected into Kramaric's path but he can't react quickly enough to convert from close range.
Lyon are on the back foot now and they're struggling to compete with the hosts. Kramaric is causing problems every time he receives the ball.
CLOSE! Kvrzic shows great determination to hold off a couple of challenges on his way into the box and his effort almost pays off when a drilled cross is deflected just past the post.
Lyon are struggling to keep the ball since that Kramaric goal. Ferri is the latest player to waste possession just as the visitors were trying to launch an attack.
Lyon are needing two opportunities just to clear the ball when Rijeka pile forward in numbers. Garde will be very concerned with what he is seeing.
Sharbini's confidence is clear for all to see when he targets the top corner from 30 yards but his technique isn't quite as impressive as the ball sails wide.
Benko thinks he's through on goal but the referee correctly pulls the forward back for a foul on Sarr.
Males is the next player to try his luck from distance when the midfielder slices a shot wide of the target from 25 yards. Confidence is flowing for the hosts.
Rijeka have been very impressive in the first half. The game has calmed down slightly in the last few minutes but it's the home side who are still dominating possession.
The hosts have certainly been the better side but they'll be frustrated with only being level. Lyon do have the players to punish the home side if they waste too many more chances.
Good football from Rijeka to break away after clearing a corner. The ball is worked nicely through midfield to Benko, whose effort is well blocked by Baky.
Lyon are beginning to see more of the ball towards the end of the first half but they look to be lacking in ideas when they approach the box.
Gorgelin points the finger at Zeffane when the two nearly get in a mix-up inside the box. Luckily for the visitors, the goalkeeper managed to keep hold of the ball.
Briand cuts in from the left to earn some room but his optimistic effort is charged down. In fairness, he had very few options but that will be a worry for Garde.
A couple of corners are well defended by Rijeka as they look to end the first half strongly. You might be wondering where Gourcuff has been. To be honest, I was thinking the same. The playmaker has barely been involved.
HALF-TIME: RIJEKA 1-1 LYON
Rijeka have been superb. Lyon took the lead early on but they've been chasing shadows since then. Kramaric has been brilliant for the hosts and it was his superb effort which saw Rijeka equalise.
Vitoria de Guimaraes and Real Betis are facing each other in tonight's other Group I game. Neither team have been able to make a breakthrough in the first half.
Lyon have to dig a lot deeper to ensure they aren't beaten tonight. They're level with the home side at the moment but they've been poor.

Garde has made a lot of changes for this game and as you can see from the last post, he has a young squad at his disposal. However, he may be forced to change things unless his side improve.
Rijeka need to keep doing what they have been doing in the first 45 minutes but they cannot continue to miss chances. They've clearly been the better side but they must take the opportunity collect three points tonight.
Both teams have returned to the pitch for the second half. Lyon will get the game back underway.
The problems for Lyon are clear again early in the second half as they waste possession just a few seconds after restarting the game.
Much better from the visitors. They've started to increase the tempo when they have possession in the final third of the pitch but they're not being offered much by a determined Rijeka defence.
Males has impressed tonight in midfield. Rijeka have a lot of players who like to express themselves but he's been very intelligent as he keeps things tight in the middle of the pitch.
CHANCE! Briand picks the ball up on the right before cutting in to find space for himself. He picks out Gourcuff in the box but his shot sails over the crossbar. Big miss from the visitors.
Rijeka haven't started with the same intensity they showed in the first half. Lyon are looking much better after the break and it's they who are dominating possession now.
Lope does well to evade a couple of challenges on the right and delivers a cross to the back post. Danic arrives on the scene late but he can't connect with his header.
YELLOW CARD! Kramaric wants a penalty when he goes down inside the box but instead he receives a booking for diving. A replay shows that Kone did dive in but there was no contact made.
Plea wins a free kick near the corner flag for Lyon. Danic whips the ball in but Rijeka win the first and second ball to clear the danger.
SUBSTITUTION: First change of the night from Rijeka as Alispahić comes on for Sharbini.
The home supporters are doing their best to urge Rijeka on with 30 minutes left in the game. They are desperate for a victory but their play has not been as impressive in the second half.
SHOT! Mvuemba shows great skill to breeze past a couple of defenders but he wastes a good position when he drills an effort over the crossbar from 25 yards.
Both sets of defenders are really impressing in the second half. Lyon looked fragile at the back before the break but they aren't offering anything to the home side anymore.
SUBSTITUTION: Danic's work is done for the night as he comes off to be replaced by Corentin Tolisso.
SAVE! Gourcuff drills a pass into Briand's feet and he does well to turn his marker before firing a shot at goal. Vargic collects the ball at the second time of asking.
SHOT! Benko wants a foul when he's bundled down on the edge of the box but his protests are ignored by the referee. The ball breaks loose to Alispahić, who drags his shot wide of the target.
Both teams are enjoying spells of domination but neither have been able to create the clear opportunity that could lead to the winning goal. Will there be a dramatic finish in Croatia?
YELLOW CARD! Benko attempts to hold up play in the corner of the pitch but he's chopped down by Lopes, who is correctly booked by the referee.
It remains goalless between Vitoria and Betis in Portugal. A winning goal could prove to be huge for one of these teams.
Tolisso does very well to beat Mocinic to the ball on the edge of the box and he wins a free kick for his side. Can they test Vargic?
Gourcuff attempts to trick the goalkeeper by targeting the corner where he's standing but his curled effort drifts well wide of the target.
Lyon are enjoying more of the possession as the game enters its closing stages but they're still struggling to break down the Rijeka defence, which has only made one real mistake in this game.
YELLOW CARD! Bertosa is cautioned by the referee for pulling down Lopes, who was preparing to deliver a ball into the six yard box.
CHANCE! A move straight from the training ground almost works for the visitors when Mvuemba rolls the free kick across the box to Briand. However, the forward misses with a big swing of the right foot and Rijeka clear.
SUBSTITUTION: Kone comes on for the final few minutes to replace Lopes.
SUBSTITUTION: Pokrivač comes on to replace Kramaric, who has been far quieter in the second half following his wonder strike to level the scores.
Rijeka aren't showing the same attitude they did in the first half as they drop deeper to ensure that they do not concede a late goal.
Rijeka have resorted to playing long balls forward to Benko, who is beginning to show how tired he is in attack for the hosts.
SUBSTITUTION: Mujanović is off the bench to replace Kvržić for the final few minutes.
SAVE! Benko holds off a couple of challenges to create some space for himself and he forces Gorgelin into a good save with his shot from outside the box.
The fourth official reveals that three minutes of added time will be played.
CHANCE! Gourcuff's free kick is whipped into a good area and Briand looks to find the winner with a smart flick but Vargic just manages to keep the shot out.
Lyon are ending the game strongly but it looks like they will run out of time in Croatia.

Rijeka were certainly the better side in the first half but they struggled to show the same intensity after the break as Lyon improved. A point apiece is probably a fair result
Lyon take a draw back with them to France but Rijeka might feel that they've missed an opportunity to claim a victory in front of their home supporters this evening.
