Slovakia are on course to remain top of Group C after goals from Juraj Kucka and Adam Nemec gave them a two-goal lead against Macedonia at the interval of their Euro 2016 qualifier.
Both sides started the evening slowly, but the hosts fired a warning shot in the opening stages when FK Sarajevo forward Krste Velkoski let fly from a good position and missed the target to the right.
Macedonia threatened again in the 23rd minute as Arijan Ademi met Besart Abdurahimi's corner, but could not keep his bullet header down.
Slovakia took the lead slightly against the run of play in the 25th minute when Vladimir Weiss picked out Kucka in the box, allowing the Genoa man to tuck a shot into the bottom corner.
The visitors looked more convincing after taking the lead, and they helped themselves to a second seven minutes before the break when Nemec thumped home from inside the penalty area.
