Bayern Munich have registered a comfortable 3-0 win against Mainz in the Bundesliga away from home.
The league leaders made most of the early running without really testing the home side's defence until the 25th minute when Mario Mandzukic headed a free kick wide.
Mainz had two chances in quick succession thereafter, first Andreas Ivanschitz dragging his shot from 20 yards wide, before Mali Yunus saw his effort deflected out for a corner by Philipp Lahm.
It was Bayern who broke the deadlock and the goal came four minutes from half time, Thomas Muller shooting home from a narrow angle after being released by Toni Kroos.
Mandzukic made it 2-0 to the visitors just five minutes into the second half when he stabbed home David Alaba's pass from inside the Mainz penalty box.
The striker added his second goal of the afternoon in the 57th minute with a header at the back post from a Lahm cross.
