Malaga are still without a win from their opening three La Liga games following a 0-0 draw at home to Eibar.

Neither side showed much attacking intent in the opening stages and the first chance fell to Adrian, but the Eibar midfielder skied his shot after being found inside the area by Saul Berjon.

Adrian was guilty of another miss a few minutes later when he sliced a volley wide of the post, while Asier Riesgo pushed away an effort from Charles at the other end on the stroke of half time.

The second half saw little in the way of goalmouth action until the 87th minute, when Borja Baston could have won the game late on for Eibar, but he skewed a close-range shot wide.

There was still time for one last Malaga chance, but Duje Cop's snapshot flew the wrong side of the upright to sum up a frustrating evening for the hosts.
