Wilfried Bony believes that winning a trophy with your national team is better than any success at club level.
The Manchester City forward, who is yet to play a game for his new club, helped Ivory Coast secure victory on penalties over Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations final at the weekend.
While the 26-year-old believes that 'nothing can beat' winning for your country, the striker is hopeful that his success will push him to help clinch silverware at City.
In an interview with FIFA.com, Bony said: "There is no comparison. Winning something with your club is great, but your national team is your national team.
"You are playing for your country and there is nothing that can beat that. So I will always take a victory with my country. But I do hope that this victory has lifted me to win things with the club also."
Bony signed for the Premier League champions from Swansea City last month for a reported £25m fee.
