Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's injury and suspension news ahead of their Champions League clash with Young Boys.
Sports Mole

Manchester City will be bidding to make it three straight victories in the Champions League this season when they travel to Young Boys on Wednesday night.

Pep Guardiola's side returned to winning ways on Saturday, securing a much-needed three points against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.

The Citizens are currently top of their Champions League section, beating Red Star Belgrade and RB Leipzig, so another win on Wednesday would put them in a strong position in Group G.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Young Boys, who are third in the group on one point.

Kevin De Bruyne

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

De Bruyne underwent hamstring surgery at the end of August, and the Belgium international is not expected to be back on the field for the Citizens until early 2024.

MANCHESTER CITY'S SUSPENSION LIST

City have no players suspended for this contest, with Manuel Akanji available despite his red card against Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.
