Manchester City stormed into the quarter-finals of the Champions League this evening courtesy of a 7-0 hammering of Schalke 04 at the Etihad Stadium.
Pep Guardiola's side wrapped up a 10-2 aggregate victory with one of the most one-sided performances in Champions League knockout history, although it took until the 35th minute for them to break the deadlock.
Three goals in the space of less than eight minutes saw Man City dispel any remaining doubts about their place in the last eight, though, with Sergio Aguero scoring twice and Leroy Sane adding a third.
Further goals from Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden and Gabriel Jesus in the second half then outlined Man City's dominance as they sent out a statement to the rest of Europe.

Thank you very much for joining Sports Mole for tonight's incredible match as Man City put Schalke to the sword on their way into the quarter-finals of the Champions League! I will leave you with our match report, and be sure to stick around for reaction too.
From me, though, it is goodbye for now!
Manchester City hit SEVEN past Schalke to cruise through to the quarter-finals courtesy of a 10-2 aggregate triumph, and that is a definite statement to the rest of Europe as to why City are favourites to go all the way in this competition!
They have shown very little ambition, though, and now it appears to be just a matter of how many goals City will get. You can check out our match stats to see exactly how dominant City have been.
Zinchenko played a fine pass down the left channel for the Germany international, who duly slid his finish past the keeper for a goal which looked far too easy for City.
VAR backed the referee's decision on that one, but then took far too long to do the same on Aguero's second when the Argentine squeezed a shot through the legs of the keeper after good work from Gundogan and Sterling - the latter of whom had the question mark of offside which led to to the lengthy VAR review.
It took the hosts a while to get going, but they moved into a higher gear towards the end of the half to slice through Schalke with three goals in less than eight minutes.
Sterling holds off a defender before back-heeling it into the path of Aguero, who does really well to get it out of his feet and squeeze the ball through the legs of the keeper.
VAR is still checking it, though, and there is a longer delay than you might expect from a goal which looked pretty simple!
SUBS: Skrzybski, Nubel, Rudy, Mendyl, Teuchert, Matondo, Kutucu
SUBS: Jesus, Humphreys, Music, Delph, Mahrez, Foden, Stones
The hosts come into this match in complete control of the tie courtesy of their 3-2 victory in the first leg last month - a dramatic game which saw City give away two penalties, have a man sent off and still emerge victorious with two late goals. The two sides' form could not be more different coming into this match either, so it would be a major shock if City were to crash out this afternoon - although we have seen plenty of shocks already in this season's competition!
