Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri believes that his side's progress to the last 16 of the Champions League is a "big achievement".
Manuel Pellegrini's team booked their place in the knockout stages of the competition with a 5-2 home win against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday.
"That is something we've wanted for three years now, and we did it today - it's a big achievement," ITV Sport quotes him as saying. "A club like Manchester City should be there every year."
"Of course, on paper, if you take every player, we have the quality like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Man United and Arsenal," he added, when asked if City can stamp themselves in the latter stages of the competition.
City are currently second in Group D with nine points from four matches, three points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
