Manchester City have beaten CSKA Moscow 5-2 at the Etihad Stadium in the Champions League this evening to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.
Sergio Aguero scored twice and Alvaro Negredo claimed his first City hat-trick, as Seydou Doumbia grabbed both goals for the visitors.
Aguero continued his goalscoring form from the penalty spot on three minutes, after Zoran Tosic brought down David Silva.
The striker added his second with after 21 minutes, before Negredo extended the lead nine minutes after that when he poked home from close range.
On the stroke of half time, Doumbia got one back for the Russians after he rounded Costel Pantilimon in the City goal to make it 3-1 at the break.
After the restart, Spanish striker Negredo claimed his own double with another close-range effort, before CSKA were handed a penalty when Gael Clichy brought down Doumbia on 70 minutes.
The striker picked himself up to reduce the deficit when he slotted past Pantilimon with ease.
Negredo had a chance to score his hat-trick with 12 minutes remaining but Igor Akinfeev kept him out from close range once more.
However, the forward made amends in injury time when headed home James Milner's cross to confirm City's qualification to the knockout stages.
