Samir Nasri has been forced out of Manchester City's match against Real Madrid before half time through injury.
The French playmaker was replaced by Aleksandar Kolarov prior to the interval after hurting his right hamstring.
The 25-year-old was withdrawn with the scores still locked at 0-0 as City opened their Champions League campaign with an away match against the Spanish giants.
Nasri's place in the City squad for their next match against his former club Arsenal this weekend is now in doubt.
