Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri feels that his side put in an "amazing" display to beat Roma to qualify for the knockout stage of the Champions League.
The Frenchman found the net in the second half along with Pablo Zabaleta to fire Manuel Pellegrini's men into the last 16 of the competition, while Joe Hart made several saves to earn his side the three points.
Nasri told Sky Sports News: "I think the performance of the team was amazing. It was important for me to score, after the surgery I took a while to get to my full level, now I am.
"With Yaya Toure and Kun Aguero missing, it was important to show we were a team and we did it. At 1-0 the save Joe Hart made was amazing."
City will face one of the eight teams that finished in first place in their respective groups after the draw for the last 16 is made on Monday.
