Manchester City are without their captain Vincent Kompany for tonight's key Champions League tie against Roma, while Edin Dzeko leads the line in place of the injured Sergio Aguero.
Centre-back Kompany is struggling with a hamstring strain, so Martin Demichelis and Eliaquim Mangala start in the heart of defence.
Dzeko is chosen ahead of Stevan Jovetic in attack, while David Silva is fit enough for a place on the bench, but doesn't start. Another key figure, Yaya Toure, is missing through suspension.
Surprisingly, Roma boss Rudi Garcia leaves talismanic midfielder Daniele De Rossi on the bench for the hosts, while Gervinho and Fracesco Totti are both in the starting XI.
Roma, City and CSKA Moscow can all join Bayern Munich in the knockout stages from Group E. If City win and CSKA fail to beat Munich, they will go through, while a score draw will be enough if CSKA lose in Germany.
If Roma win, they will secure second place and it would mean the end of all European football for City this season. A goalless draw sends Roma through if Bayern beat CSKA.
