Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has played down the swift return of Sergio Aguero from injury, highlighting that he is not fully fit but that his presence will boost the team.
The Argentine limped off the field in his side's 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday after being tackled by opposition defender Scott Dann.
However, he was named on the bench for the Citizens' Champions League Group D clash at home to Juventus, despite having been ruled out of the fixture just a day earlier.
Pellegrini told BT Sport before the match: "Sergio is not 100% fit, but it has been an unexpected good recovery. It's important for the team to see that if we need him, he can play."
Man City go into the Juve match on the back of five wins out of five in the Premier League.
