Franck Ribery will play no part in Bayern Munich's Champions League group encounter against Manchester City tomorrow night.
The French winger returned to action on Saturday following a spell on the sidelines with a knee injury, but Bayern head coach Pep Guardiola has ruled him out of the clash in the Allianz Arena.
However, Guardiola did reveal that Dutch winger Arjen Robben, who, like Ribery, has been struggling with a knee complaint of late, could feature at some point.
"Arjen Robben is here, Frank Ribery is not. That means he cannot play. That means Arjen could play," the Bayern boss told reporters. "This is Arjen's first training session, so we will see, but Franck is definitely out. He is at home."
City have lost on both of their previous trips to Bavaria.
