Midfielder Bernardo Silva has insisted that Manchester City will remain focused on registering a win over Basel in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.
Last month, City coasted to a 4-0 victory over the Swiss outfit, leaving Basel in a position where they must score at least four goals at the Etihad Stadium to keep their hopes of progression alive.
Silva has acknowledged that City are clear favourites to book a place in the last eight, but the Portuguese international has suggested that the Premier League side will push for another win on Wednesday night.
The 23-year-old told the club's official website: "In my opinion, Champions League games are never easy, but of course, when you win by 4-0 in the first leg away, you've always a good advantage especially because now we are playing at home with our fans' support.
"We'll face the challenge with maximum confidence and stay focused, with the intention to win again."
Silva has played a part in all seven of City's Champions League fixtures this season.
