Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that David Silva could make his comeback for the team against the Champions League holders Bayern Munich next week.
The Spaniard has been missing from the side for the past month after picking up a groin injury while on international duty, and he looks unlikely to be fit in time to face Aston Villa at the weekend.
However, Pellegrini has admitted that he may be able to call on the services of Silva when they host the European champions next Wednesday.
"We will see the next day what happens with David," Pellegrini told reporters. "The doctor can say better than me what will happen.
"I don't think he can play on Saturday but maybe for the next game of the Champions League, I think he could be fit."
City travel to Villa Park on Saturday to face Aston Villa in the Premier League.
