Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has opted not to include Yaya Toure in his squad for tomorrow's Champions League playoff first leg against Steaua Bucuresti.
The midfielder is not carrying an injury, but according to reports, he was not part of the travelling party that flew to Romania.
Toure was also absent from the matchday squad for Saturday's opening Premier League game against Sunderland, which ended in a 2-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium.
Guardiola, who sold Toure when he was in charge of Barcelona in 2010, claimed that the 33-year-old Ivorian was left out at the weekend due to lack of fitness.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Joe Hart reportedly fears for his future after he was dropped for the season opener.
