Niall Quinn
Niall Quinn's best years in a Manchester City shirt arguably came before the advent of the Premier League, but the towering striker was still an important figure in keeping the club in the division before his 1996 exit.
The Republic of Ireland international's time at Maine Road was hampered by injury in the 1993-94 season, when damage to his cruciate ligament limited him to just 15 Premier League appearances, although he did still manage to score five goals.
In all, Quinn scored 76 goals in 240 appearances for City across all competitions during his six-year stay, although only 30 of those goals came in the Premier League.
Quinn's best goalscoring year of his entire career came in 1990-91, when he netted 20 times in the league on his way to being named Man City's Player of the Year.
