Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has avoided any formal punishment after an incident with a Wigan Athletic supporter on Monday night.
Moments after Wigan had defeated City at the DW Stadium, hundreds of Wigan fans ran onto the pitch, with one male being involved in a confrontation involving Aguero.
Footage emerged of Aguero retaliating towards the fan, who allegedly instigated the exchange, and City and the Argentine are said to be considering legal action.
According to Sky Sports News, Aguero will not be handed any charge from the Football Association in relation to the incident, but the frontman will reportedly be 'reminded of his responsibilities'.
However, both Wigan and City have been punished for failing to control their players after Fabian Delph was handed a straight red card just before the half-time whistle.
The League One outfit went on to prevail by a 1-0 scoreline thanks to a late goal from Will Grigg.
