Manchester City will be aiming to progress to the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup when they make the trip to the London Stadium to face West Ham United on Wednesday night.

The Citizens will enter the contest off the back of a 4-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League, which moved them into second position in the table behind Chelsea.

Pep Guardiola's side recorded a 6-1 victory over Wycombe Wanderers in the previous round of the competition to advance to the round of 16.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Man City's injury and suspension news ahead of the contest with West Ham, who overcame Manchester United in the third round of the League Cup.

Ferran Torres

Ferran Torres sustained a foot fracture while representing Spain over the international break, and the attacker is not expected to be back in action until the start of 2022.

Possible return date: October 27 (vs. West Ham)

Man City were without the services of Raheem Sterling against Brighton due to a lower back problem, and the attacker remains a doubt for the clash with the Hammers.
