Manchester City goalkeeper Wilfredo Caballero has said that Kevin De Bruyne's goalscoring start to life at the club will help him to settle in.
The summer signing from Wolfsburg netted on his debut against West Ham United on Saturday before following that up with another goal in the 4-1 win over Sunderland in the League Cup on Tuesday.
Raheem Sterling and Sergio Aguero also got on the scoresheet at the Stadium of Light, and Caballero is confident that the team's attacking players will now push on with their form.
"It is good for us," the Argentine told City's official website. "[De Bruyne] is a new signing and it is good for him. It is also good for Kun, for Raheem, everyone. When they score, it is important because they will grow in confidence which is fantastic for us.
"We need to try to do the same in the league now, but we need to enjoy this game because when we lost the last two games, we were really unhappy with some mistakes and with other things.
"Now we have one or two days to enjoy this victory and then we will be thinking of the next game in the league. It is important for every player to get this result."
City face Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday.
