Manchester City's Edin Dzeko lost track of how many goals his side put past West Ham United in tonight's League Cup semi-final first leg.
The Bosnian, who netted twice as the Sky Blues hit their opponents for six, appeared unsure about the scoreline come the final whistle.
"It's not easy to win 5-0 at home against another Premier League team," he told Sky Sports News.
"We still have to play away and this 5-0 - or 6-0, in the end - will give us the confidence for the second leg."
Alvaro Negredo bagged a hat-trick and Yaya Toure scored City's remaining goal as Manuel Pellegrini's men put one foot in the final of the competition.
"The first goal is always important, then maybe we can open them up because they were defending with eight, nine players always. The first goal was also spectacular from Alvaro," Dzeko added.
Sunderland lead Manchester United 2-1 after the first leg of the other semi-final.
