Manchester City made sure that they would go straight into the Champions League group phase next season by earning a 4-2 win at Swansea City.
The visitors opened up a 2-0 lead with 36 minutes played thanks to goals from Yaya Toure and James Milner, but Gylfi Sigurdsson pulled one back for Swansea on the stroke of half time.
Bafetimbi Gomis wiped out the away side's advantage when he found the net on 64 minutes, only for Toure and former Swans striker Wilfried Bony to seal the points for the former champions during the final 15 minutes.

Was the result fair?
It was by no means plain sailing for Manchester City on a tricky afternoon in South Wales, but the former champions left as worthy winners in the end. While they will have been disappointed to have let their initial two-goal lead slip, their extra quality in the final third made the difference in the end.
Swansea's performance
The hosts were dominant during the opening 20 minutes of the game as they forced their opponents back with some dynamic attacking football. However, some poor finishing cost them and they went into their shells once Man City opened up a 2-0 lead. After pulling a goal back on the stroke of half time, Garry Monk's side were much improved in the second half. A direct approach caused the away team plenty of problems, with Bafetimbi Gomis leading the line admirably with his physical ability. No-one could have begrudged them finding an equaliser, though they let their concentration wander for the remainder of the match and were duly punished by the more consistent visitors. While it was a disappointing way for their final home fixture of the season to end, the Swans can be extremely proud of pushing Man City hard.
Man City's performance
After weathering an early Swansea storm, the visitors were slick, organised and dangerous for much of the first half. Their lethal attacking play stretched the hosts all over the pitch, and they were rewarded by going in ahead at the break. Manuel Pellegrini's men struggled to have the same influence on the match in the second half as the home side turned up the heat, though they bounced back impressively after letting their two-goal lead slip and handing the Swans the momentum. During the final 20 minutes Man City regained their composure and tore their opponents to ribbons with some breathtaking football, culminating in two decisive goals.

Yaya Toure: Man City's captain for the day put in a commanding performance in midfield, running from box to box with authority. To cap a fine afternoon, the Ivorian scored two of his side's goals.
Biggest gaffe
Swansea goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski will be disappointed by how he let Yaya Toure's shot squirm past him to make it 1-0 to the visitors. Toure's effort looked to take a slight nick on its way through, but Fabianski should have done much better in keeping it out of the net.
Referee performance
Mark Clattenburg was a safe pair of hands throughout the afternoon, allowing the match to be the end-to-end affair that many were hoping it was going to be. Despite brandishing three yellow cards, the official had control for the entire 90 minutes.
