Mario Balotelli's girlfriend has claimed that she will marry the Manchester City striker "soon".
The 21-year-old's relationship with Raffaella Fico had been thrown into doubt following revelations that he had an affair with Jenny Thompson.
However, on the day that Balotelli insisted that he wants to stay with City, Fico revealed that a wedding is on the horizon.
"What do you mean our relationship has reached the end?," she told ANSA "We are planning our marriage, which will happen soon.
"I don't know how some people can say certain things. In the light of greater calm, we are planning our wedding.
"The date? If you don't mind, I prefer not to reveal that."
Balotelli is currently serving a three-match suspension.
