Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster has admitted that Manchester City could have reached double figures in Saturday's Premier League fixture at the Etihad Stadium.
City had threatened to break all kinds of records having gone 5-0 ahead after 18 minutes, but the Hornets earned a moral victory of sorts by only losing by an 8-0 scoreline.
However, Foster has acknowledged that he was 'fearing the worst' after City proved unstoppable during the early stages of the match in the North-West.
The Englishman told beIN SPORTS: "You come away to Man City, you want to keep it tight and stay in the game as long as possible. But we didn't, none of us did our jobs today.
"You let a goal in after 50 seconds, any sort of game plan you had going into the game is out the window. They were incredible and at times they were absolutely breathtaking. 5-0 up after 20 minutes and I'm fearing the worst. I'm thinking this could be 10, 11, 12, easy today."
The Hornets remain at the bottom of the top-flight standings, now with a -14 goal difference.
