Fernandinho admits that he is "very anxious" about his first training session with Manchester City.

Fernandinho has admitted that he feels "very anxious" about getting started at Manchester City.

The Brazilian midfielder moved to the Etihad Stadium this summer in a reported £30m deal from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Fernandinho wrote on Twitter: "Time to sleep, tomorrow my first day of work at Man City, I am very anxious."

The 28-year-old flew into the North West city yesterday ahead of today's first pre-season training session.
