Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has rejected any notion that his side might become complacent after a positive start to his reign at the club.
The Sky Blues have now produced a record eight-game winning run with Guardiola at the helm, having capped off five wins from five in the Premier League with a 4-0 thumping of Bournemouth at the Etihad on Saturday afternoon.
"That is not going to happen when I am here," Guardiola told reporters after the game when asked if his side would take their start for granted.
"I have heard for a long time the Premier League is the hardest league in the world. I am not going to accept now it is easy.
"We are in September. We have played absolutely nothing."
City currently sit top of the league pile with 15 points from a possible 15.
