Goalkeeper Joe Hart has described playing for Manchester City in recent months as "crazy".
The Citizens won the Premier League title with virtually the final kick of last season, before going on to open up the new campaign with a late 3-2 win over newly-promoted Southampton yesterday afternoon.
Having conceded a number of goals in recent matches, the City defence has come in for some criticism of late.
However, Hart has backed his side to turn around their fortunes over the coming matches.
"It's a crazy to play football at the moment," he told a FIFA 13 UK cover reveal press conference. "Nothing is taken for granted but that's the beauty of the Premier League.
"I've got a lot of trust in our players and no matter what happens I'm sure we'll turn it around."
Next up for City is a trip to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
